Lindsay Lohan’s Magical ‘Irish Wish’ is Now Available for Streaming on Netflix

Get ready for another enchanting romantic comedy from Lindsay Lohan as she embarks on a somewhat whimsical adventure in the recently released Netflix film, Irish Wish. Fresh off the success of her holiday hit Falling for Christmas, the actress is set to captivate audiences once again with a heartwarming tale of love, self-discovery, and the power of wishes.

Irish Wish follows the story of Maddie, a young woman heartbroken after her best friend gets engaged to the man she secretly loves. During the wedding festivities in Ireland, Maddie makes an impulsive wish, only to wake up as the bride-to-be herself. As she navigates this magical twist of fate, Maddie soon realizes that her true soulmate might be someone entirely unexpected.

Directed by Janeen Damian, who helmed Lindsay Lohan’s previous Netflix hit, Irish Wish promises a delightful mix of romance, comedy, and a touch of fantasy against the breathtaking backdrop of the Emerald Isle. Lohan will be joined by a talented ensemble cast, including Ed Speelers (You) as the charming James Thomas and Alexander Vlahos (Versailles) as the groom, Paul Kennedy.

The film’s enchanting premise had already generated buzz among Lohan’s dedicated fanbase, eager to see the actress return to the romantic comedy genre that first made her a household name with hits like Mean Girls and Freaky Friday.

For the Parents Trap star, this project holds personal significance as she embraces her Irish heritage. Filming took place in the picturesque town of Wicklow, where the actress was able to immerse herself in the local culture and connect with her family’s roots.

She previously told Netflix in an interview that she thought Ireland to be “so beautiful” and that she had

“Never been, [but] my grandfather’s from there. We stayed in this little town called Dalkey. The people are so nice, and the Guinness pies were amazing.”

Irish Wish premiered on Netflix on March 15. You can watch the film’s trailer below.
