Megan Thee Stallion Fires Back at Critics in New Song 'HISS'

Megan Thee Stallion recently released her latest single, “HISS,” and it’s making waves as she addresses past controversies and takes shots at some familiar names. On this track, the Houston native doesn’t hold back, responding to those who’ve thrown shade at her over the past two years.

In the first verse of “HISS,” Meg seems to aim at Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. She cleverly references Minaj with lines like “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” As for Rihanna, Meg raps, “I can never be judged by a b***h that was dancin’, makin’ R. Kelly go viral.” The song quickly caught Nicki Minaj’s attention, leading her to respond in less than 15 minutes.

Nicki fired back on Instagram Live with a snippet of her own diss track, playfully poking at Meg’s height and referencing the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting incident. “Bad bh she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The bh fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” raps Nicki.

But it wasn’t just the ladies in the firing line. Later in the song, Megan seemingly addresses Drake, recalling an incident from a year and a half ago when he made comments about her on the track “Circo Loco.”

“These ns hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars/Real curvy, no edgin’, ns fight to get in my section,” raps Meg. “Don’t speak on my body count if the d**k ain’t worth comin’ back for seconds/Cosplay gangsters, fake-ass accents, Posted in another na hood like a bad bh.”

“HISS” is the second single from Megan Thee Stallion’s upcoming third studio album. It follows her earlier release, “Cobra,” where she addressed her ex Pardison Fontaine. After dropping “HISS,” Megan called into The Breakfast Club to share the real meaning behind the track.

In summary, Megan Thee Stallion’s “HISS” is making headlines for its bold lyrics and clapbacks at critics. The track not only addresses past controversies but also showcases Meg’s unapologetic attitude as she gears up for her upcoming album. As fans eagerly await more from the Houston rapper, “HISS” has certainly stirred up the music scene with its fiery verses and catchy beats.
