Rising Star Timothée Chalamet Inks Major Deal with Warner Bros. Following 2 Successful Box Office Hits

Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group has solidified its relationship with one of Hollywood’s brightest young talents, Timothée Chalamet. The studio has signed the acclaimed actor to a multiyear first-look feature deal, cementing their collaboration on future projects where Chalamet will serve as both actor and producer.

The announcement comes on the heels of the actor’s back-to-back box office successes with Warner Bros., including the 2023 “Wonka” and the recently released “Dune: Part Two.” These two films alone have amassed an impressive $1.2 billion at the global box office, showcasing Timothée Chalamet’s star power and drawing audiences worldwide.

While specific details of the deal remain undisclosed, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group co-chairs and CEOs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy have expressed their admiration for the 28-year-old’s dedication and commitment to his work. They praised his ability to fully immerse himself in diverse roles and his support during the promotional campaigns for “Dune” and “Wonka.”

“We have admired not only Timothée’s commitment to his craft, which is evident in the range and depth of his varied roles, but also his unwavering dedication to give 100 percent of his time and attention to every project he has made here at Warner Bros. and elsewhere,” said De Luca and Abdy in a statement.

“We continue to build for the future of the theatrical film business at Warner Bros. Discovery and are thrilled Timothée has chosen our studio to be his creative home .”

Expressing his enthusiasm for the partnership, Timothée Chalamet stated,

“Working with Mike De Luca, Pam Abdy, and their teams on ‘Wonka’ and ‘Dune’ has been a deeply rewarding experience. These are studio heads who believe in real movie making, and I’m so grateful for their support as an actor, producer, and collaborator. This partnership feels like a natural next step. Let’s go!”

With this new deal, Warner Bros. has secured a long-term creative relationship with one of the industry’s rising stars, positioning the studio as a “home” for Chalamet’s future projects.
