Brittany Snow Breaks Silence on Ex Tyler Stanaland’s Reality TV Infidelity

Nearly a year after finalizing her divorce from realtor Tyler Stanahand, actress Brittany Snow is candidly addressing how it felt to watch her ex’s apparent indiscretions play out on the Netflix reality series Selling the O.C.

In an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Pitch Perfect star got raw about the “shocking” experience of seeing Stanahand’s close relationships with co-stars unfold so publicly after their split.

“I did not know what was going on,” Snow admitted. “I think as someone who is so hands-on with my career, I was just completely shocked that I didn’t have a handle on reality in that way.”

During Selling the O.C.’s first season in 2022, Stanahand confessed to briefly kissing co-star Kayla Cardona off-camera while still married to Brittany Snow. Then in the 2023 season, he grew extremely close with colleague Alex Hall, even sharing a passionate hot tub kiss as his divorce played out.

“Of course I saw it – I watched it with my dog,” Snow said of witnessing the drama, appearing visibly shaken. “What people think happened, happened – now I can laugh about it. It’s insane and it’s so funny.”

While the revelations were undoubtedly painful, the 37-year-old shared that she’s actively working to move forward with grace.

“I had instincts and I think because I was in love I didn’t trust them,” she reflected. “There’s a part of this I don’t have a part in. They messed up. But I tried very hard to see it from every side and release that anger because it doesn’t serve me.”

Despite the messy end, Brittany Snow insists she doesn’t regret her nearly 4-year relationship and 2-year marriage to Stanahand, which began with him sliding into her DMs in 2018.

“There was love there…there was so much love,” she said wistfully. “I don’t regret anything that happened because I loved that time when we had it.”

As for her current status, the actress confirmed she’s single but open to finding love again, having learned major lessons about trusting her instincts.

“I will say what people think happened, happened,” Snow stated, “and I think that there’s also in my experience with this and how I’ve processed it, there’s a lot of grace that I give myself.”

While the journey was painful, the star seems committed to emerging stronger and wiser from the public breakdown of her marriage.
