Taylor Swift Announces New Album After 14th GRAMMY Win

At the 2024 Grammy awards, Taylor Swift won her 14th Grammy in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for Midnights. She also surprised her fans by revealing her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, coming out on April 19th.

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter also received nominations in top categories like Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Song of the Year, but lost to Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish respectively.

When receiving her award, Swift revealed that she had been working on a secret project for the past two years, which she described as her “tortured poet” era.

She also teased her new album on her social media platforms, along with captions like:

“All’s fair in love and poetry. Sincerely, The Chairman of the Tortured Poets Department.”

Taylor Swift also made history as the first woman and the fourth artist overall to win Album of the Year four times, following Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder.

She previously won the award for ‘Fearless’ in 2010, ‘1989’ in 2016, and ‘Folklore’ in 2021. She is also the only artist to win the award for three consecutive albums.
