Carol Burnett Jokes Bradley Cooper Is On Her 91st Birthday Wish List

Comedy icon Carol Burnett shows no signs of losing her impeccable timing or signature saucy wit – even at 90 years young! The television legend recently had Kelly Ripa and her co-host Mark Consuelos in stitches with a cheeky revelation about her celebratory plans ahead of turning 91 later next month.

While promoting her new Apple TV+ series Palm Royale on Live with Kelly and Mark, talk turned to Burnett’s 90th birthday last year. Ripa reminded her of the hilarious response she gave in a podcast interview about what she hoped to do before reaching that milestone age.

“You said something very funny, that ‘Is there something you wanted to do that you haven’t done yet before you turn 90?’ And you said, ‘George Clooney,'” Consuelos recalled with a laugh.

Not missing a beat, the actress revealed her wish list has gotten an update for her upcoming 91st birthday on April 26th. With a mischievous grin, Burnett quipped, “No, but now I’m thinking about Bradley Cooper.”

The impish admission sent Ripa into a fit of giggles as the longtime host playfully pledged to help make Burnett’s fantasy a reality.

“Everyone knows that this is the official morning show of Bradley Cooper. He loves this show. Brad? Give Carol a call. And you know which phone to use,” she joked.

Of course, the only hiccup in Carol Burnett’s coquettish plan is her marital status – she has been happily wed to Brian Miller for over two decades. “I don’t think it’ll work with my husband,” Burnett said deadpanned, unleashing another wave of laughter.

As for Cooper, while his relationship status remains ambiguous amid dating rumors with Gigi Hadid, it seems the acclaimed 49-year-old actor may also be unfortunately spoken for when it comes to Carol Burnett’s playful advances.
