Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Launches with a Game-Beating Bug

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has had a disastrous launch this week. The highly anticipated game from the makers of the Batman: Arkham series, has been pulled offline after players reported a bug that skips the whole story and takes them straight to the credits.

The bug was first reported by players in New Zealand where the game was available earlier due to time zones. It didn’t only complete the entire story as soon as the player logs in for the first time, but also prevents them from accessing any of the game’s features, such as the co-op mode, the character customization, and the side missions.

The developer, Rocksteady Studios, has acknowledged the bug and apologized to the players. They said that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. However, they didn’t give an estimate of how long the maintenance would take, but said that it would update the players once it had more information.

The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game was released on Monday, January 29th, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and was supposed to be a blockbuster title that combines action, humor, and co-op gameplay. It lets players control Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang as they try to take down the corrupted Justice League.

The game is set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham games, and features a story written by comic book writer Scott Snyder. It also features voice acting from Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, and Taika Waititi, who reprise their roles from the Suicide Squad movies.
