Powerball Jackpot Is Now Third-Biggest Ever After Hitting $1.2 Billion

The Powerball jackpot has not been won since July, and it surpassed $1 billion on Saturday.

The estimated $1.2 billion lottery prize has a cash value of $551.7 million. On Wednesday, October 4, at 10:59 p.m. ET, the following drawing will take place. In terms of prize size, it is presently the third-largest in Powerball history.

When the winning ticket was sold in Los Angeles on July 19, the most recent Powerball jackpot was $1.08 billion, making it the fourth-largest payout in the lottery’s history.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, Powerball drawings are held, making them three times every week. Wednesday, October 4 is the drawing date.

12, 26, 27, 43, and 47 were the winning numbers in the drawing held on Monday, October 2. The Power Play was 2X, and the red Powerball result was 5.

There were no jackpot winners, but there were Match 5 + Power Play $2 million and Match 5 $1 million wins in New York and South Carolina, respectively.
