Singer, Megan McKenna has called herself ‘stupid’ after failing to answer a question that she clearly knew on Tipping Points.
The country star was up against radio legend Tony Blackburn and comedian Tim Vine on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, but she couldn’t gather enough coins in her pot.
Host Ben Shephard asked her a question about which horned animal Marco Polo mistook for a “unicorn” during his travels.
Megan answered ‘Zebra’ instead of a Rhinoceros. It seems she forgot.
As Ben told her she was wrong she quickly realized her mistake and gave the right answer – but it was sadly too late.
McKenna’s counter could not push any prize counters over the ledge. This means that she finished the show with nothing in her pot.
Megan turned to the audience and said: “Oh, I’m going home. I gave it my best shot guys, I really did.”
The celebrity version of Tipping Points is for charity and Ben announced that they would donate to McKenna regardless.
When asked where she would like her donation to go, She said: “I have coeliac disease and a lot of people are actually walking around undiagnosed and it can lead to really serious health problems.”
