Enzo Fernandez Scores As Chelsea Comes From Behind To Beat AFC Wimbledon

Enzo Fernandez grabbed the winner for Chelsea as they survived a great scare in their Carabao Cup quest.

The Blues went against League Two AFC Wimbledon and were losing to their opponents in the 20th minute.

Wimbledon took the lead through a penalty in the 19th minute. Chelsea’s goalie, Robert Sanchez had jumped into Harry Pell while trying to punch away a free-kick.

Noni Madueke legalized for the Blues sending in a penalty the wrong way after he was brought down by Alex Pearce.

£105m midfielder Enzo Fernandez got the winner for the Premier League giants when he picked up on Alex Bass’ poor clearance to fire in from outside the area.

There are 63 places between the two sides but Wimbledon were able to cause Chelsea problems with their set-pieces and organized long balls.

Mauricio Pochettino was far from happy with his team’s performance, though, and went down the tunnel a couple of minutes before the first half finished.

Fernandez and Noni were the brightest players on the blue team.
