Tottenham has been going back and forth with the transfer of their star player Harry Kane. The most promising move was to Germany, after Bayern Munich made a €100 million offer for the England forward. But Tottenham are nonchalant about the discussions.
Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy jetted off to the US after Bayern made their offer and gave a feedback deadline for the striker. The English giants have not said anything concerning the offer.
When talks of Harry Kane’s transfer came up this year, Tottenham maintained a stand that they were not going to let him go till they get a reasonable amount of money.
Kane has entered the last 11 months of his contract with Tottenham and Bayern is doing everything possible to land the striker in Germany.
The striker is not too happy with the situation as he has told both clubs to find a resolution before the start of the new season on August 11.
Kane has also refused to sign a new contract with Tottenham, despite their offers. It shows his willingness to explore other opportunities abroad despite closing in on Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record.
Tottenham would be facing Shakhtar Donetsk in an international club friendly on Sunday before taking on Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy final on August 8. The clubs would have to find a common ground fast to avoid shared consequences.
