Charles Leno, and Tyler Larsen On Commanders Reserve Due To Injuries

The Commanders have put Charles Leno and Tyler Larsen on the injured reserve list. Leno sustained a calf injury during practice while Larsen is dealing with a knee injury.

Safety Percy Butler has also played his final snap of the season. He’ll join Leno and Larsen on injured reserve due to a wrist injury. A lot of injured right?

The Commanders filled the open roster spots by signing long snapper Tucker Addington, tackle Alex Akingbulu, and quarterback Jake Fromm off of their practice squad.

Safety Sean Chandler and cornerback Nick Whiteside II would also be starting their game against 49ers.

Washington has lost six-straight games, though they made late runs with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback in losses to the Los Angeles Rams and New York Jets in the last two games.

Head coach Ron Rivera named Brissett the starter earlier in the week, but a hamstring injury led to Sam Howell remaining the starting quarterback.

Brissett is also one of many injured players who will be out on Sunday.

A trio of defensive backs in cornerbacks Benjamin St-Juste, Kendall Fuller, and safety Percy Butler would also be out against a high-powered 49ers offense.
