After dragging the release of his new album, Drake revealed the track list on Thursday, featuring 23 songs set against artwork made by his son Adonis.
The rapper dropped a video for his new single “8 AM in Charlotte, featured in the tracklist.
The video opens with Adonis showcasing a piece of his artwork, which he explains to Drake, who replies, “It’s almost like a little story.”
The drawing includes a goat with “Daddy” written alongside it, leading Drake to ask if that’s him. “It’s Daddy Goat,” Adonis replies. “That makes perfect sense to me,” Drake says.
The new album follows Her Loss, a collaborative LP between Drake and 21 Savage, as well as the rapper’s own Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind.
The album is expected to be released on Oct. 6 if Drake does not push it anymore. The album was originally set for release on Sept. 22, but the rapper pushed the release date.
“Okay, my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show,” Drake wrote in his message to fans.
“I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to-date we will be spinning back for sure. For All the Dogs October 6th. It’s only right…”
