Harry Kane Scores First Goal For Bayern Against Werder Bremen

Harry Kane Scores First Goal For Bayern Against Werder Bremen

Harry Kane has scored his first goal in his first start for Bayern Munich this season.

Leroy Sane put the visitors ahead in the 4th minute when Harry Kane flocked the ball to the racing Sane who went the ball into the bottom corner.

Kane made it two for his club as Alphonso David raced down the left and passed the ball to England forward who fired in a shot and a slight deflection off defender Amos Pieper, worked in his favor.

Leroy Sane scored again a minute after stoppage time and Mathys Tel added a fourth for Bayern to cap a glorious night.

Kane is the third English player to score a goal on his Bundesliga debut, alongside Reiss Nelson and Demarai Gray.

After the match, Harry was very excited.

“I was a little bit nervous [and] excited to play the game of course. We started well with a goal in the first few minutes. For sure there were a few butterflies, but as always when I get on the pitch, instinct takes over.”

Bayern has won the previous 11 Bundesliga titles, but their points total of 71 last term, when they only just pipped a faltering Borussia Dortmund, was their lowest since 2010-11 when they finished third.
