Trump Bible: Former President Launches “God Bless the USA” Bible Amid 2024 Money Crunch

As former President Donald Trump seeks to fundraise and rally supporters in his 2024 White House bid, he has unveiled an unexpected new commercial venture – his very own line of ‘Trump Bibles’.

Trump took to his Truth Social platform this week to promote the “God Bless the USA Bible,” inspired by the patriotic Lee Greenwood song he famously walks out to at rallies. “All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book,” Trump said in a video message.

The ‘Trump Bibles’, which retail for $59.99 on a dedicated website, arrive as the Republican nominee faces mounting legal fees from his four criminal indictments and various civil lawsuits. Just this week, he narrowly avoided an immediate $454 million payment after a New York appeals court paused that civil fraud judgment pending a $175 million bond.

While the Bible website insists the product “is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign,” the overtly branded nature of the venture raises new questions about how Trump aims to finance his third presidential run amid legal pressure.

In addition to the King James translation, the “God Bless the USA Bible” features the U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and even Greenwood’s song lyrics handwritten by Trump. It bills itself as “the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!”

According to the product website, Trump has licensed his “name, likeness and image” for the Bible through his company CIC Ventures, the same arrangement used for his 45Footwear sneaker line. However, no financial terms were disclosed.

The former president has a long history of attaching his name to various commercial products and business ventures outside of politics. Just last month he launched his line of Trump-branded sneakers and had previously tried his hand at everything from steaks to vodka to a controversial real estate seminar that drew fraud allegations.
