Cheating Scandal? Nicki Nicole and Peso Pluma Not Together Anymore

The Latin music industry is buzzing with the news of the split between Argentine rapper/singer Nicki Nicole and Mexican hip-hop/reggaeton star Peso Pluma.

After a video of Pluma, 24, holding hands with another woman in Las Vegas surfaced online, Nicole, 23, posted a blunt statement in Spanish on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

She wrote, now translated to English,

“Respect is a necessary part of love. What you love, you respect. What you respect, you take care of. When you are not taken care of and when there is no respect, I will not stay there…….With so much pain, know that I found out the way you all did.”

Peso Pluma, who won a Grammy this year for best música mexicana album for Génesis, still has not addressed the cheating allegations or the break up directly.

The pair collaborated on the hit song “Por Las Noches – Remix” in 2023, and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Latin Grammys in Spain in November that year. There they spoke to Billboard about their chemistry and plans for more music together.

“I think that when you mix the personal with the musical, incredible things come out. Since we care for each other so much on a personal level and we admire each other so much musically, there is a unique chemistry in the studio.”

Since then, no one noticed anything brewing as the two even attended the Premio Lo Nuestro in February, as well as the 66th annual Grammy Awards together.

Nicki Nicole and Peso Pluma have not commented further on their relationship status or their future projects, but they are both expected to release new albums later this year.
