Dua Lipa Debuts New Single ‘Training Season’ and Performs ‘Houdini’ at the 2024 Grammys

Dua Lipa kicked off the 2024 Grammys with an electrifying performance of her new single ‘Training Season’, which she released just a week before, and her hit song ‘Houdini’.

The 28-year-old pop star, who has won three Grammys in her career, took the stage in a steel cage surrounded by dancers, wearing a black outfit and rocking red hair. She declared, “Training season’s over” as she sang the upbeat track, which is the lead single from her upcoming third studio album. She then transitioned into ‘Houdini’, a catchy pop song that topped the charts and became the most-streamed song on Spotify in 2023.

Dua Lipa was also nominated for two awards at the 2024 Grammys, Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media, for her song ‘Dance the Night’, which was featured on the soundtrack of the animated film Barbie.

The song is a disco-inspired dance anthem and was co-written/produced by Mark Ronson, who also attended the show with his mother-in-law Meryl Streep.

However, Dua Lipa lost both awards to Billie Eilish, who won Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media for ‘What Was I Made For?’.
