Gary Graham, who played Vulcan Ambassador Soval in Star Trek: Enterprise and Detective Matthew Sikes in Alien Nation, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Monday. He was 73 years old.
His ex-wife, Susan Lavelle, confirmed the news of Graham’s death in a Facebook post on Tuesday, saying that his current wife of nearly 25 years, Becky Graham, was by his side when he passed away at his residence in Spokane, Washington. She also asked for prayers for their daughter, Haylee Graham, who is devastated by the loss of her father.
Lavelle wrote that she met Gary Graham when he was one half of the star duo on the TV series Alien Nation, which aired from 1989 to 1990 and followed the partnership between a human cop and an alien cop in a futuristic Los Angeles. Graham played the human cop, Matthew Sikes, who befriended and protected his alien partner, George Francisco, played by Eric Pierpoint. The show was based on a 1988 film of the same name, starring James Caan and Mandy Patinkin.
