Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow Expected Out Against Los Angeles Rams

Naturally, the Los Angeles Rams and their head coach Sean McVay are getting ready for their “Monday Night Football” game against the Cincinnati Bengals as though rising star QB Joe Burrow will be taking the field. In contrast, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor made very little public prior to the weekend.

However, there is also a rumor that has Burrow’s Bengals teammates not only advising him to sit so he can rest his ailing calf, but also whispering to the media that they believe the QB won’t play. In addition…

There is even some talk that the Bengals may decide to put the quarterback on the injured reserve list.

After two divisional games, the Rams are 1-1, and of course, they are battling with injuries like every other team.

Cincinnati, meanwhile, is in disarray and doesn’t yet appear normal. Burrow, the quarterback, has a calf strain that he worsened again in the early part of this season, continuing a condition from training camp.

The Bengals are 0-2 and don’t yet appear to be a club led by one of the league’s top passers, in part because of this.

If he were to play, the injury would surely hinder him, which would give the Rams’ inexperienced defense a bit more assurance. There is little doubt that the lethally accurate Burrow won’t be strutting out there on Monday night in this sort of “Super Bowl rematch.” Therefore, it seems like Jake Browning, the backup quarterback, will be in charge on Monday and possibly beyond.
