Bellingham Scores A Brace As Real Madrid Comes From Behind To Beat Almeria

Bellingham has taken his tally of the new season to three goals after getting a brace against Almeria in their second game of the new campaign.

Sergio Arribas’ early header had given Almeria the lead and it looked like Real Madrid’s ending last season was about to resurface.

Bellingham was in the right place at the right time to level the scores, picking up a ball that deflected off defender Chumi, he fired into the right corner.

He put the visitors in front in the 60th minute, heading in from Toni Kroos’ pinpoint cross from the left.

Bellingham gave a beautiful pass to set up Vinicius Jr. for the third goal, sealing Real Madrid’s win with a perfect start to their new campaign.

The talented former Bundesliga youngster has his peak years in front of him in the Spanish capital and has hit the ground running.

There were 45 shots in this game. The visitors had 25 of them in mind and always had the greater quality. Real Madrid comfortably sits at the top for now.

After the match, Real Madrid’s boss had nothing but praise for Jude. He said:

“He is adapting very well to La Liga, to our style, he’s very good.”
