Orlando City SC loses to Inter Miami CF.

On Saturday afternoon, Orlando City SC played against Inter Miami CF in Lauderdale, Florida. The game took place at Chase Stadium, and sadly, Orlando lost 5-0.

The first goal was scored by Luis Suarez from Inter Miami in the fourth minute of the game. He got an assist from Julian Gressel. Just seven minutes later, Suarez scored again with another assist from Gressel. This made the score 2-0 in favor of Miami.

In the 29th minute, Robert Taylor from Miami scored their third goal, assisted by Luis Suarez. Then, in the second half of the game, Lionel Messi, the captain of Miami, scored two more goals. The first one was in the 58th minute, and the second was in the 62nd minute, with an assist from Diego Gomez.

Orlando’s head coach, Oscar Pareja, said it was a disappointing day for the team. He mentioned that they didn’t play their usual style of soccer and gave Miami too many opportunities to score. He also praised the professionalism of his players, saying they will work hard to improve.

A few notes from the game: Facundo Torres made his 75th start for Orlando City, and Luis Muriel made his debut in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a substitute in the second half.

Despite the loss, Orlando will have another chance to compete soon. They will be playing against Tigres UANL from Liga MX in the Round of 16 of the Concacaf Champions Cup on Tuesday, March 5. The game will be held at INTER&Co Stadium, and it will start at 9 p.m. ET.
