Bucks County Massacre Suspect Andre Gordon Captured After Standoff in Trenton

A tense situation unfolded in Levittown, Bucks County, when authorities were engaged in a manhunt for 26-year-old Andre Gordon, who is suspected of carrying out multiple fatal shootings on Saturday morning. The violence has left the community reeling, prompting a temporary shelter-in-place order and the closure of several local businesses and attractions.

According to police reports, the first incident occurred around 8:52 a.m. on the unit block of Viewpoint Lane, where Gordon is believed to have shot and killed two individuals residing in a home ~ his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon.

Tragically, the violence escalated shortly after, with another person shot and killed in another residence in Levittown at approximately 9:01 a.m. This time, a 25-year-old Taylor Daniel who the police believe is the mother of his two children. Gordon is also accused of ‘bludgeoning’ Daniel’s mother, who is currently recovering in the hospital.

Authorities allege that the suspect then committed a carjacking at gunpoint in the parking lot of a Dollar General store on Bristol Pike in Morrisville around 9:13 a.m., though the vehicle’s operator was unharmed.

As the search for the killer intensified, a dark gray 2016 Honda CRV with Pennsylvania registration KFR 1534 and a “Namaste” sticker on the rear bumper was recovered. The police believe this was the vehicle that was stolen by the suspect.

Also, at one point during their search, law enforcement had surrounded a home on Phillips Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey, where Gordon was believed to have taken hostages, although the exact number and identities of the hostages remain undisclosed.

SWAT teams were deployed, and tear gas was used in an attempt to flush him out, but authorities later learned that he had managed to slip away before the perimeter was fully established.

Andre Gordon was later spotted unarmed and walking the streets of Trenton around 5 p.m., possibly trying to blend in with the crowd. Patrol officers swiftly apprehended him on New York Avenue, bringing an end to the intensive manhunt.

“Trenton Police patrol officers were the ones who apprehended him,” confirmed Trenton Police Director Steven Wilson. “When they grabbed him, he was identified.”

Andre Gordon is now in custody at Trenton Police headquarters, awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. The investigation into the motives behind the brutal killings is currently underway.
