Ted Cruz Condemns Anti-Israel Protesters Outside His Home

Ted Cruz, who is a Republican senator from Texas, has faced another group of anti-Israel protesters outside his home in Houston on Saturday.

The protesters were part of the Palestinian Youth Movement and were filmed carrying signs that read something like “STOP FUNDING GENOCIDE”. They also held bells and were heard shouting,

“Cruz, you will see, Palestine will be free. Ted Cruz, what do you say? How many kids have you killed today?”

They also accused the senator of being a “terrorist sympathizer” for his staunch support of Israel and called for his arrest.

Cruz, who was possibly not at home at the time, denounced the protesters on his X account for “harassing” his family and still maintained his stance on supporting Israel.

He in turn accused them of not expressing “concern about Hamas’ Oct 7 murder of over 1200 or mass rapes of women and children”.

Ted Cruz, 53, is one of the most vocal and loyal allies of Israel in the Senate, and a critic of the Biden administration’s policies in the Middle East.

He has repeatedly called for the U.S. to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, to move the embassy there, to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, and to replenish Israel’s stock of Iron Dome missiles. He has also visited Israel several times, and met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials.
