How to Get a Free Cheeseburger from Wendy’s This Week

If you’re a fan of cheeseburgers and free food, you’ll be happy to hear that Wendy’s has a deal for you. Just buy anything at their participating fast-food chains this week and get a free cheeseburger.

The free cheeseburger offer is Wendy’s way of marking 40 years since its iconic “Where’s the Beef?” ad, which debuted in the 1984 Super Bowl and went viral.

The commercial featured three elderly women inspecting a tiny burger from a rival chain and asking, “Where’s the beef?” The slogan was later used by presidential candidate Walter Mondale and inspired countless parodies and references.

So as a way of celebrating, they are giving away a free Dave’s Single cheeseburger to customers who make purchases from their restaurants from February 5th to 12th. Only a few more days to go.

On a toasted bun, a Dave’s Single cheeseburger has a quarter-pound of fresh beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayonnaise and onion.

The deal can be found on the Wendy’s app, and there’s no delivery fee on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 11th), as long as you order from them exclusively and not from third party platforms. Any purchase qualifies for the deal, but note that it is one free burger per order and per visit only.

Wendy’s is not the only fast-food chain that offers free food deals from time to time. McDonald’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A and others have also given away free burgers, fries, nuggets and more to their loyal customers. However, Wendy’s claims that its cheeseburgers are superior to the competition, because they use fresh, never frozen beef, unlike some other chains.

So, if you’re craving a cheeseburger this week, head to your nearest Wendy’s and get a free one with any purchase. Just don’t forget to ask, “Where’s the beef?”
