The Game Awards 2023 Nominations: Full List

Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment bagged eight nominations as The Game Awards announced their nominees for 2023.

Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment and role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios — got the most nods with eight each, including Game of the Year. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games, Resident Evil 4 from Capcom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder from Nintendo, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from Nintendo also got nominated for Game of the Year. 

This year’s films and series nominated for Best Adaptation (a category first introduced last year) are: “Castlevania: Nocturne” (Netflix), “Gran Turismo” (Sony Pictures), “The Last of Us” (HBO), “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (Illumination/Universal Pictures) and “Twisted Metal” (Peacock).

The 2023 Game Awards nominees transit 112 different games, individuals, teams, and events across multiple genres and platforms. 

The 10th annual Game Awards show will stream live from the Peacock Theater (formerly Microsoft Theater) in L.A. on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, across more than 30 platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok Live, and X (aka Twitter).

The winners will be chosen through online voting on thegameawards.com. 

In addition, for the second year in a row, fans can vote for the Game Awards nominees on the award show’s official Discord server.
