She pleaded guilty to charges of retail theft and possession of a controlled substance in November.
Bobbie Jean Carter’s death follows the passing of her brother Aaron Carter in 2022. Aaron’s death was attributed to accidental drowning in his bathtub, influenced by inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam, as revealed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The Carter family has faced previous losses, with Leslie Carter’s death in 2012 at age 25 from a prescription medication overdose.
