Zach Wilson Shines As New York Jets Loses To Kansas City Chiefs

Zach Wilson Shines As New York Jets Beats Kansas City Chiefs

Zach Wilson had some beautiful moments when he represented his team, the New York Jets against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

It was a painful and narrow loss for the Jets who tried everything they could to salvage the deficit.

The Chiefs were up 17-0 at the end of the first quarter. And out of nowhere, Wilson started making good runs, probably the best stretch of his three-year career.

He was hitting back-shoulder throws and passing in rhythm. He made a very nice play running it into the end zone on a two-point conversion to tie the game 20-20.

The defense, which rallied back after a rough start, couldn’t stop Patrick Mahomes on third-and-23 — he scrambled for 24 yards.

Less than an hour before kickoff, Swift arrived with actors Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman, and made her way to a suite at the top of the first level behind the Jets’ bench.

Wilson had a good play card that Kansas City Mahomes

Wilson: 23-of-31, 216 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 114.4 rating

Mahomes: 8-of-17, 135 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 54.4 rating

Mahomes put the game away just after the two-minute warning with a third-down run that picked up another first down, sliding down just before the end zone.

Kansas City scored on each of its first three possessions, racking up 215 yards of offense.

Wilson hadn’t thrown a touchdown pass since Week 2 and had only two scoring throws on the season, so this was huge for him.
