Two of the Packers‘ wide receivers suffered injuries this week, but it appears like just one of them will play against the Bears.
Romeo Doubs is anticipated to play despite a hamstring injury, according to several reports. However, the Packers are anticipated to restrict the number of snaps that Doubs will take.
Due to a hamstring injury of his own, Christian Watson was declared ineligible on Friday.
Doubs was selected in the fourth round of last year’s draft, but he is one of the more seasoned receivers on the Green Bay roster. Along with 2022 draft picks Watson, Doubs, and Samori Toure, the 53-man roster also includes second-round pick Jayden Reed, fifth-round pick Dontayvion Wicks, and undrafted rookie Malik Heath.
The Packers did not promote any receivers from the practice squad as a result of the injuries. For the game on Sunday, they added running back Patrick Taylor and safety Innis Gaines.
