Darwin Nunez’s shot off the crossbar was then followed by a Matty Cash own goal in the first half, and Mohamed Salah added a third goal for Jürgen Klopp’s team following a Nunez knockdown in the second half.
Following his match-winning double last weekend, Nunez was moved to the attack, while Joe Gomez started in place of the suspended Virgil van Dijk and Curtis Jones started in midfield.
