After watching Federico Chiesa open the scoring early in Juventus’ away encounter against Udinese, Dusan Vlahovic urged the Italian to “don’t stop.”
In the opening Serie A game of the season on Sunday night at the Dacia Arena, Chiesa broke the score after just three minutes. The Italian scored with a strong right-footed shot from the edge of the box, and to celebrate, he raised his index finger and repeatedly said “One, one,” according to DAZN.
Federica Zille, a pitchside reporter, noted that Vlahovic joined his teammate in celebrating their goal and urged Chiesa to keep going.
Chiesa had already scored in Juventus’ final Serie A match of 2022–23 against Udinese, which was also held at the Dacia Arena.
On the eve of the game, Massimiliano Allegri lauded the Italian winger, adding that he was more assured and that his legs ‘looked different’ in preparation for the next Serie A season.
