Leeds United who were recently relegated from the Premier League have announced the signing of Djed Spence from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
The season-long loan deal would make Spence the club’s sixth summer arrival.
Coming out from Fulham’s academy, Spence moved to Middlesbrough in 2018 and he went on to make 70 appearances during his time at the Riverside Stadium, over the next four years.
Djed made six appearances for Spurs, before joining French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais back in January, whom he helped to a fourth-placed finish.
Djed also moved to spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Nottingham Forest and made 50 outings for the Reds in all competitions.
On the international stage, Spence has been capped six times at the Under-21 level for England, after making his debut in March 2022.
In other news, Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood, and Harriett Jakemen made a special guest appearance at a Leeds United Foundation Summer Soccer Camp.
The summer camps are being held during the current school holidays across several different locations and there are thousands of children taking part in the various camps across the six weeks.
