Marvel fans, hold onto your chimichangas! The long-awaited Deadpool 3 trailer was just released at the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday and it promises a whole lot of action, cameos and of course, comedy.
Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the irreverent antihero, Wade Wilson, while Hugh Jackman, or his shadow as per the trailer, dons the adamantium claws once more as the iconic Wolverine.
Thanks to Loki’s meddling, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) now embraces the multiverse. The Deadpool 3 trailer opens with members of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) tracking down Wade Wilson. Their mission? To recruit him for a multiversal adventure.
Matthew Macfadyen’s TVA character delivers the bombshell: “Wade, you are special. This is your chance to be a hero among heroes.” But Wade, being Wade, quips back, “Your little cinematic universe is about to change forever. I’m the messiah. I…am…Marvel Jesus.”
“Deadpool & Wolverine” will be slashing its way into theaters on July 26th, 2024. The anticipation is palpable, and fans are already speculating about surprise cameos and jaw-dropping moments.
