Apple Vision Pro: Everything You Need to Know About the Spatial Computer

Apple Vision Pro is a spatial computer that creates an infinite canvas for apps that scale beyond the boundaries of a traditional display. It features a fully three-dimensional user interface that is controlled by the most natural and intuitive inputs possible — a user’s eyes, hands, and voice.

This revolutionary device enables users to interact with digital content in a way that feels like it is physically present in their space. It features a unique dual-chip design of custom Apple silicon and a display system with an ultra-high resolution of 23 million pixels on two screens.

Apple Vision Pro also features visionOS, the world’s first spatial operating system, which is built on the foundation of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.

Users can be more productive with infinite screen real estate, access to their favorite apps (up to 600), and all-new ways to multitask. With support for Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad, users can also set up the perfect workspace or bring the powerful capabilities of their Mac into Vision Pro wirelessly, creating an enormous, private, and portable 4K display with incredibly crisp text.

Apple Vision Pro introduces spatial video capture, a new feature that lets users record and playback videos in 3D. You can capture moments from multiple perspectives, and relive them in full spatial detail, as if they were there again. You can also edit and share such videos with others, who can watch them on their own Vision Pro devices, or on other Apple devices with spatial audio support.

The starting price for the Apple Vision Pro is around $3,500 and will be available in the U.S. as from today, February 2nd. Interested buyers can purchase the device on Apple’s official website, or via authorized resellers.
