Arsenal Beat PSV 4-0 On Return To UEFA Champions League

By crushing PSV Eindhoven 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, Arsenal made a strong entrance back into the UEFA Champions League.

Since 2017, the Gunners had not participated in Europe’s premier club competition.

However, as a result of goals from Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Odegaard, Mikel Arteta’s team appeared to be back where they belonged.

In the eighth minute, Saka scored the game’s first goal after grabbing a rebound after Odegaard’s first attempt was stopped by a busy Walter Benitez.

Midway through the first half, Trossard, who had been set up by Saka, scored a goal from 18 yards with a beautiful low strike.

Jesus scored goal number three with a superb two-touch finish after Trossard sent in a cross.

Saka, Trossard, and Jesus were all replaced midway through the second half as Arsenal kept an eye on Sunday’s north London derby against Tottenham.

However, skipper Odegaard continued playing and scored a spectacular long-range goal to make it 4-0 in the 70th minute.
